Patients

I’m a psychiatrist who specializes in psychopharmacology—the thoughtful use of medication to treat psychiatric conditions. I provide careful diagnostic assessment and medication treatment that is collaborative, evidence-based, and respectful of the complexity of each patient’s life. I specialize in depression, bipolar disorder, and most forms of anxiety, and I also have experience treating adults with attention deficit disorder. I do not treat children. I currently see patients exclusively by telepsychiatry, and I work with adults who live in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at George Washington University, where I teach the psychopharmacology course for psychiatry residents. I have been honored with multiple Washingtonian Top Doctor awards and have conducted clinical research in mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD.
